Chevron Canada is committed to collaborating with Indigenous peoples and their communities in Canada to build long-term trusting and mutually beneficial relationships based on the values of inclusion, transparency, respect and accountability.

We acknowledge that Aboriginal and Treaty rights of Indigenous people in Canada are recognized, affirmed and protected by the Canadian Constitution.
We acknowledge the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) and are committed to working with Indigenous peoples within the Canadian legal and constitutional framework.
We respect that each Indigenous community has its own unique connection with the land and environment in which they live.
We appreciate the importance of learning from and respecting the cultures in which we operate.
We recognize the diversity of Indigenous peoples in Canada and are committed to interacting with each Indigenous community in a way that respects their history, culture and customs.

Social Investment - Chevron Canada is committed to engaging with Indigenous communities where we operate to build an understanding of each other’s aspirations and concerns. We work with Indigenous communities to identify opportunities for social investment, education and partnership.
Environmental Stewardship - Chevron Canada is committed to protecting people and the environment including the inclusion of Indigenous knowledge and engagement in environmental stewardship.
