Celebrating 25 years of safe operations at Newfoundland Transshipment Limited
Since the facility began operations in 1997, it has prioritized the most important thing—safety. Operating for over 9,000 days, equivalent to 1.24 million work hours, this facility has transferred over 3.4 billion barrels of crude oil, all without a single lost time injury.

Chevron Canada supports food banks across Alberta
In recognition of achieving milestone production targets at the Scotford Upgrader in the Alberta Oil Sands Project (AOSP), owner Shell Canada and non-operated partner Chevron Canada Resources have each coordinated a significant food bank donation to help aid those suffering from food insecurity.

Chevron Canada Limited to exit the proposed Kitimat LNG Project
Although Kitimat LNG was a globally competitive LNG project, the strength of Chevron’s global portfolio of investment opportunities was such that in 2019, Chevron elected to cease further funding the project. Subsequently, Chevron Canada Limited (Chevron) and its 50/50 joint venture partner, Woodside Energy, elected to exit the Project.

Empowering Indigenous Youth Through Sport
Spirit North, Scott and her team bring sport and land-based activity programs to Indigenous schools across western Canada and Ontario, with a goal of empowering youth to learn, grow, thrive and strengthen themselves, and their communities, through sport. Chevron Canada has been proud to support Spirit North in providing programs.

Chevron Canada achieves major milestone in Kaybob Duvernay Program
The milestone was achieved in late October when 23 wells from Chevron’s first five development pads were brought online in concert with the startup of the second train at the Pembina Duvernay natural gas processing plant (D2 Plant), operated by Pembina Pipeline Corporation.

Chevron One Team Raises $20,000 in Support of MS Research
Joining over 600 cyclists, the Chevron One Team biked 180 kilometres in pursuit of a cure for MS. Thanks to friends, family and colleagues, the money raised will go towards research—changing the lives of over 100,000 Canadians.

Take a keyboard, mouse, wires and a Raspberry Pi microcomputer. Add an LED, a temperature sensor, a buzzer and an ultrasonic distance sensor. Mix in a group of eager students and Chevron Canada’s Tech Club, and you may just have the next generation of innovators.
