Brian Grant is manager of Atlantic Canada. Based in St. John’s, NL, he is responsible for managing the technical/business review of Chevron Canada’s non-operated joint venture (NOJV) assets in Atlantic Canada. In this role, he influences the operators of these assets in such areas as production, development activities, and management of ongoing major capital projects. Brian has held this position since May 2016, and prior to this was asset manager for several key deepwater NOJV assets in the Gulf of Mexico Business Unit.
During his 31-year career with Chevron, Brian has held Asset Development, Major Capital Project and Reservoir Management leadership positions in the Canada Business Unit, Gulf of Mexico Business Unit, Southern Africa Strategic Business Unit, and Upstream Capability, including assignments in Louisiana and Texas.
Brian graduated with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in geology from the University of Windsor. Brian serves on CAPP’s Atlantic Canada Executive Policy Group (EPG), Memorial University’s Engineering Advisory Board, and is a board member for Petroleum Research Newfoundland (PRNL) and One Ocean.
